harry potter----?? uuhhh... not Good!

david yates has ruined it all... what's there in hp 6? aaaahh... sheer disappointment for ardent fans like me!!

the story has been changed.. many important scenes have been cut!! and the ending----??

don't ask!! it just spoils everything!! where's the fight between the death eaters and students? where's the scene in which greyback bit bill ? that was highly interesting!

let me say- the ending is like this-- snape kills dumbledore and the rest of the death eaters go away without any hurdle! it's just harry who tries to stop them and that very scene ends when snape tells him that he's the HALF-BLOOD PRINCE! that's all...

killing dumbledore couldn't have been easier... trust me..

the ending has screwed it up all...!!

A fortunate accident..

this is serendipity. yeah, i'm talking about the movie. 'serendipity'-- one of my favourite english words means 'a fortunate discovery'.
i don't know why, i feel so connected with this movie. i believe in destiny and the fact that God has designed each and every event of our life -- be it becoming who you are or who your better half will be. and when i saw this film all my beliefs were validated..
i really like this one. it is the very first movie with which i can relate myself..

my dream diary...

blogging-- this is a nice way to share my dreams.. and a nice way to remeber them as well...
starting with 8 July, i'll post each and every dream of mine.. however vague it is..
today, it was:
dackshta had got a new honda activa. we both set out for a ride on the GT road . we were quite close to amritsar. the road was being repaired so there was a diversion. suddenly two blue- coloured cars came in front of us and there was a head-on!!!
next thing i remember, that is, dackshta and i were in Canada. she had got married to a veteran surgeon and we both were being treated by him. i got a massive dose of injection on my back and i remember, it was not so painful.. and then in an instant i returned to Delhi to my nani's place. i thought mum n dad will be quite worried about my injury.. but on the contrary, they were least bothered about it!!
this was the dream... i'd rather love to go to a psychoanalyst someday to get my dreams interpreted...

go GOA!!!

GUYS, GOA IS JUST AMAZING....!! and the goans rock! they are very affectionate, ready to help you at any point of time.
but one thing i noticed is that they are crazy about alcohol.. beer, wine, vodka etc etc.. i mean, it's so common over there. one can get 6 bottles of beer for just 100 bucks! so cheap right?!?! see, it's cheaper than water..
and the best mode of transportation there is a honda activa and if u fancy any kind of bike-- u can get on daily rental basis... people, there, are full of energy, vitality and they love and respect their profession.. they seem to be living contented lives...

The Magnificent Taj…

It was a bright, clear, warm day of December when Papa asked me if I wanted to see Taj Mahal along with Anshoo and Bittoo bhaiya। I was elated। The idea of seeing Taj after so many years seemed quite exhilarating. To add to my excitement I also asked Divya about it. I was quite apprehensive about her reply because her dad doesn’t allow her to spend so much of time with friends, but to my surprise he and aunty both agreed!!

We left Chandigarh at 9 am and reached Agra at 8 pm. Oh! It was such a tiresome journey but somehow I couldn’t feel that in the company of Divya, Anshoo and Bittoo Bhaiya. All four of us were doing puckish things on our way. Then we refreshed ourselves in the room and went to the dining hall. My my! The dinner was so heavy that I could eat only one chapatti. The next day, we set out to see the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Papa had to go to Agra University to take a viva. Uf..Agra is a very dirty city. There are uncountable open sewage drains whose foul smell was constantly flooding our noses. Chhi! As soon as we reached Taj, I was baffled to see such a long queue; waiting for our turn in an enormously long queue could take hours. But we were very lucky. Someone in the security squad knew the uncle who was with us. So he helped us out, we did not have to stand in that queue.
When I saw the Taj, I was lost in the thought that how could one fall in love with a person so deeply that one could build such a living marvel on earth! I could not even imagine how beautiful and enigmatic Mumtaz Mahal would have been! The whole view was so reposing and calming. We took many photos in different locations. Then Divya and I sat beside a pillar. We could see the Yamuna River flowing nearby. It was very filthy. A pleasant breeze was blowing and I felt like sleeping there. Then we went to the mosque and played hide and seek and Kikali. It was one of the best moments of my life. But soon we were tired and decided to leave. We took a Tonga ride! Oh! It was amazing.

Then we went to the Agra Fort. As I was quite tired, all my interest for visiting this place had gone. Bittoo bhaiya also hired a guide to provide us with ample information about the fort. I was feeling very bored. Divya and I kept on exploring mysterious pathways rather than listening to his monotonous tales. The Agra fort is larger than the Red fort at Delhi. I liked it a lot. The queens and maharajas of 17 century lived their life lavishly. This fact fascinated us all. There used to be 300 dasis for Shahjahan’s daughters and they used to be eunuchs. Hahahahaaaa.. This is very funny. Then we rushed back to the hotel and had lunch. It was 4 pm by the time we had lunch and after that we left for Chandigarh. On our way, Anshoo taught us three very naughty sort of words[can’t mention them here]. Papa told us about the mischievous tricks which he used to play on others. How naughty my Papa was!! Heheehee.. We burst out laughing. It was really the most memorable trip for me.

Diwali...

There was something missing in this Diwali; what was that? Surely, the presence of Nana...
So that is why we went to celebrate Diwali with my Nani. We did not want to let her feel alone in the midst of glittering houses, shimmering streets and noisy crackers.

We left for Delhi on 7 Nov, 2007 , two days earlier than our planned schedule because Papa had an important work. I was very excited because this time Chintoo bhaiya had also come there to meet all of us. At Rohini, we met Mausi and Mausaji first. Chintoo bhaiya had gone to Gurgaon and Bittoo bhaiya was in Jaipur on an office trip. I simply don't know why do these multinationals strain their employees even during the festive season. I mean, they should give some holidays so that they can also enjoy with their families!! Ok now...lets's leave it! Because nothing's going to change in that.

I took some rest and then took lunch. Ah! Mausi had made the ever luscious [as for Chintoo bhaiya, ''yummy'' is now a cliché] Paav Bhaji. She is a perfectionist in that. Then after some time, Chintoo Bhaiya also came. Oh my my! I was simply flabbergasted when i saw him! He had grown so broad from his shoulders. This was a clear-cut effect of taking chicken regularly. As usual he kept on irritating me to the core of it. He never feels tired doing that. He always keeps on blabbing Kancha, Kancha, Kancha! uff..can't get rid of it! In the evening Anshoo, Chintoo Bhaiya and I went for a metro ride. He made me buy a cool tee. Then we went to KFC. We also bought a trendy shirt for Bittoo bhaiya.

The next day, we left for nani's place. She welcomed us with her warm hug and a cutie smile. Nani had prepared saag for us beforehand. She is so considerate! There was an air of sadness because it was the first diwali without nana. Anshoo had to go to Chandigarh on 9 November because he had his cricket tournament going on. What an odd timing it was!
We were certainly missing him. This time, we had a peaceful diwali. For the very first time, i didn't burn any crackers! umm..i was quite bored but i resolved not to pollute the environment.

We went to Malai mandir and Hanuman temple on 10 November. I felt so pure and tranquil. The smell of sandal and roses was so reposing. I was feeling quite blue that we were going tomorrow but couldn't help it. On the other hand i was missing my school too. Quite strange na!?
But yes! for the very first time. Can't just guess the reason for it. On 11 November, it was bhaiya dooj. I was dressed in a lovely white kurta and a blue skirt gifted by nani. Everyone gave me a compliment that i was looking quite graceful in that. Ah...i was blushing. After doing the teeka, we all sat in front of the tv watching the India-Pakistan match. so, we left at 1 pm and the roads were so crowded that day! We bade goodbye to all.
This was a Diwali quite different in itself. On one hand there were celebrations and on the other, it was the sorrow of not having nana with us! So can't just say any more....

A Different World...

whenever i dream
i dream of a different world

sometimes, it is regarding the enigmatic world of Harry Potter
and sometimes, it is about the weirdest of the people i have ever met!!

sometimes, it is about my love...
oh..when my covert desires come into light
i usually wake up during the middle of the night!!

rarely i see myself realising my aim
don't want to take decisions that are lame

yeah! whenever i dream, i dream of a different world
far away from reality
far away from the right sense of practicality

and then my Mum wakes me up
in her usual taunting way
but little does she know what my conscience says....
